Warm Spiced Pear Crumble

Filling Ingredients
- 2 pears, washed and roughly chopped into squares
- Handful of blueberries
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla paste or powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon plant-based butter, to grease the baking dish
Crumble Topping Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 80 g oats
- 20 g hazelnuts
- ½ tsp allspice
- 30 g plant-based butter
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Add all the filling ingredients (except the butter) to a bowl and stir gently to incorporate.
- Add all the crumble topping ingredients (except the butter) to the Vitamix blender jug and pulse for a short time, until the hazelnuts are ground down but still have some texture. Empty into a bowl, add the 30 g butter and mix together using your hands to combine.
- Grease a medium-sized baking dish with butter and add the pear filling mixture to the dish.
- Add the crumble topping and put it in the oven for 45 minutes.
