Teresa Cutter's Gut Loving Probiotic Lassi

This is a nourishing Ayurvedic style of smoothie rich in antioxidants, protein, probiotics and anti-inflammatory nutrients to help nourish the digestive system and boost immunity.

Papaya is also rich in vitamins A and C as well as the digestive enzyme papain, which helps to digest protein.

A spoonful of bee pollen boosts minerals, vitamins and energy boosting carbohydrates.

Ingredients

  • 125ml (1/2 cup natural yoghurt)
  • 125ml (1/2 cup cold filtered water or coconut water)
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • ½ small papaya
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp raw or Manuka honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Handful of ice, to blend

Toppings

1 tbsp bee pollen

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into your Vitamix High-Performance blender in the order listed. Secure the lid. Select Variable 1 or the Smoothie program. Start the machine, slowly increase to its highest speed and blend for 50 seconds or allow the Smoothie program to complete.
  2. Add more water if needed
  3. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with bee pollen
  4. Drink and enjoy!
