Ingredients
- 240ml bourbon whiskey
- 12 dashes Angostura Bitters, or bitters of preference
- 1 orange, peeled
- 4 tbsps maple syrup
- 1 tsp winter spice seasoning, mixed with sugar to rim the glass (see below)
- Ice, in glass
- Orange peel garnish
Directions
- Rim glass and fill with ice to the top. Place bourbon, maple syrup, bitters, and orange into Vitamix container.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 15 seconds.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh orange peel.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 4 tsps crystallised ginger
- ½ tsp ground cardamom
- 2 tbsps kosher salt, optional
- 2 tsps pink peppercorns
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 6 tsps (50g) dried orange peel
- ¼ cup (100g) brown sugar, optional
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Run the Spice Blend Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 25–30 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
