Ingredients

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Frozen Dessert Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 – 50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Freeze it for 1-2 hours and then you have delicious dark chocolate ice cream.
