Ingredients
Honey Clove Simple Syrup -
- ½ cup (120ml) honey
- ½ cup (120ml) water
- 1 tsp whole cloves, toasted
Blood Orange Cocktail -
- 1 (155g) blood orange, halved, sliced into 1/2" pieces
- 90ml gin
- 2 cups (260g) ice cubes
- 60ml prosecco or other sparkling wine
Directions
For the Simple Syrup:
- Place the honey, water, and toasted cloves into a small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Chill completely. Save 45ml of syrup for the cocktail and store the rest in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
For the Cocktail:
- Place blood orange slices, gin, simple syrup, and ice into the Aer® Disc Container and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
- Strain into two chilled 200ml cocktail glasses. Garnish with fresh blood orange.
